Im looking into buying a box within this month (hopefully) just wanted to know if there were any NJ people here that I can share the enjoyment with haha.

Also, I have some questions that maybe some of you would be kind enough to answer. (yes I did a search)


Whats a good price for a 02 boxster S with about 10k miles?

How is a PPI done? If im buying a box at a dealership thats not porsche certified, do I hire one and bring him there or do I bring the car to porsche. How is that done if I havent purchased it yet?

Do they make a lip for this car besides techart that costs a crazy amount? The aero kit is basically a lip molded on from what I can tell. Just wondering if anyone out there makes an add on lip version.

I have more questions but I'll spead them out to prevent flames :)

I bought my '02 S with 5000 miles on it this summer for $35k. I believe you'll have to find a Porsche dealer to take the car to for the PPI.

From Kelly Blue Book :

2002 Boxster S with 10k miles

$25k trade
$28k private party
$33k retail
