Price for an alignment?

My local Porsche dealer quoted $250 for a wheel alignment. Sounds a bit high?

I purchased a "lifetime" alignment from a local Firestone outlet for $79.95. Same equipment as the dealership and they have a technician who is familiar with Porsche's. I have it checked when I move from summer to snowtires. (bought my Blizzaks there and the changeover is free). Seems to work out just fine. Anytime I feel a slight pull I just drop it off and the onetime charge covers it. Works for me.

Ha! My local dealership charges $360 full wheel alignment.....needless to say I will never align my car there.

I found an independent shop that did it for $120.
