The unit is surprisingly easy to disassemble/reassemble. You probably got liquids plastic between the button as and contact points. I would pull the unit out, disassemble, and clean all contact points. I've done this a few times installing new lcd screens (and then reinstalling them right side up lol) so id be happy to help if you have any questions while doing it.

I found a new(used) working one 10 miles from my house for 60$, ill try to clean mine but i have a backup, ill update as i go

Rookie mistake... i popped the fuse for my windows when putting things back together, for some reason i didnt think it would be a fuse since its powered on, ill check on that.

Which fuse? I see E7 7.5 Air Conditioning System is this all?

Yes I believe E7 is the only fuse for the A/C ....heater system.
