Stl-986,

I think I caused some confusion... My mistake.

I wrote,

"At 14:00 mark, he [Brian] explains how to check the CPS.
It is just what YOU asked me earlier, "does the tach move?" I say no, but the amount of 'movement' is way smaller than I was expecting."

Despite my earlier answer of, "No", I don't know if the tach moved or not. I was expecting a BIG movement.

The tach 'could' have moved like in Brian's video, but I wouldn't have noticed as I wasn't looking for a movement of that small magnitude.

I think your issue is with the fuel pump.

When your fuel pump went south, did you get CEL?
Would a bad CPS also throw off code(s)?

No codes when pump went out
bad cps should throw codes
