996 conversion?

I have a 2001 Boxster base. It’s paint job isn’t the best and it has halogen headlights and needs a new bumper. My questions is since I want to replace the entire bumper and at the same time I want to convert to litronics, is it possible to just convert the front end to a 996 911? Or even a 987 but not my first choice. Front left fender also may need repainted

If you're talking a second generation 996 - this is the best way I've seen to do it:

I put the 99-01 996 front bumper on my 98 base as part of the addition of the 3rd radiator. I also have the Lits. Did not require changing anything. Very easy conversion.

Is it the turbo style headlights? I was just gonna do that with normal Boxster litronics but seeing the 911 turbo different style headlights makes me wonder

The 996 turbo conversion has been done. It is difficult and expensive because the fenders need to be swapped along with the bumper and headlights.
