Car battery went dead and now key fob isn't working, is there some trick to fix it
 

My battery went dead on my 2001 Boxster S and had to use a jumper in the fuse box to get the hood open. Charged the battery and now the key fob isn't working. Is there a fix.

I think my issue is fixed, was using the old key that didn't work anymore anyways.
