Would you really pay 9k for an 00 base?
Looking at two different 2000 base Boxster cars. I'd love the S version but they are really hard to find and significantly more $$. Both of these that I found seem very well cared for with records of maintaince, etc. Neither one of them have addressed the IMS.
#1 2000 silver/blk $9500, 105k miles. new clutch, lower control arms & ball joints, exhaust, flywheel, motor and transmission mounts, brakes and new tires.
#2 2000 blk/blk, 89k miles, new top with glass window (1yr ago), new pass window regulator, new aux input cord, new brakes/rotors, oil change and filter, cabin air filter, new intake filter, new AOS, zero issues, no lights, etc. Asking $11k so I am not sure how much he will come down.
Thinking out loud, I prefer the blk/blk with the lower miles. What I can't believe is the price of these cars. I would think $6500-8000 would easily get it done but that is not the case.
Thoughts?
