Oh, and if the odometer goes to 180mph, I wonder what the speedometer goes to. 100,000?
The one on ebay is 39k, not bad for an old car. My 98 box only has 32k.

Dang, that is pretty good mileage for that old of a car... Do you think that even though its low mileage, that TIME would have taken its toll on the normal wear and tear parts?

I like the 928 and it is a very nice touring coupe. Handles well, soaks up highway miles.

The late models are the ones to have as many improvements were made from the 1979 intro date. Car also got a more powerful and better engine.

However, beware on condition, as these repair costs can drive you to the poor house faster than to ecstacy.

No, just a LOT of research. Every once in a while, I get very close to buying one of these bad boys.

SOMEDAY!!!

mannnnn me too!

I have always had a secret desire to get a 928. It just looks SO ********************en.

Porsche V8. Nuff said.

But my mechanic also told me "Danger Will Robinson!!"

Boxster repairs = expensive

928 repairs = 2nd mortgage

Probably, I will still get one at some point.

Of course I have been telling myself this for 10 years.

A 95 GT. Low miles. Guards Red. Stick shift.

As a matter of fact, I saw one on autotrader the other day just like that with 21k miles.

Only 60K!!

Talking

The ones we all crave still command a buck.

The ones the mechanics want us to buy are pretty cheap, at least in SOCAL.

The only thing I don't like about it looks-wise is the shape of the rear wheel wells. That straight line covering the wheel reminds me of a Citroen.
