Window not adjusting when top down

I've noticed that my driver side window is up too high when I close my door with the top down (door wil not close). I recall it used to adjust automatically after the door was closed, but isn't doing that now. It does adjust when I open and shut the door a second time. I'm worried I might break the window. Anyone familiar with the problem and know a fix? Thanks. Much appreciated as usual.

Hi,

Have you recently disconnected the battery? If so, the window lost it's standardization setting. Do a search and you'll find the procedure for resetting it. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
