Smile oil sump baffle..

hey guys,
I have had the pleasure of owning a 01 boxster 2.7 for a couple of years , hardly driven mostly weekend ,, really love the car . a lot better than that jag 05 stype which took all my weekends working on it glad i gave it away.!

I need to replace the oil sump plate ( stripped out threads on drain cap) replace it to a used unit I got a while back , many thanks to Maytag.
for the time being I have replaced the oil and filter twice using blue sylicone gasket maker to seal the drain cap - it has worked ok.. - i read that somewhere in thread either here or other forums .. It does work thought.

BUT its time to DO the right thing .. I m getting a new paint job so my budget its low
I like to just buy the baffle and other small supplies like i said I like to use a used sump pan .

any recommendations and suggestions greatly appretiate it

Unless you plan to track your car and the track has some heavy G force corners, just reuse the baffle. It's fine for casual / spirited driving.
