Side mirror number of pins?
 

Hi,
My right hand side mirror was recently vandalized, and I discovered that there seems to be two different connectors. One 5-pin and one 10-pin. Does anybody know the difference between the two?

The 10-pin connectors are for cars with memory seats and mirrors. The additional pins are for the memory functions.

It's possible that the 10-pin connector mirror would work in a car without memory seats and mirrors, but I've not verified that. If you have the memory option a 5-pin mirror might work, but you would lose the memory function.
