Excellent. Just what I wanted to see. I got a sailboat as the follow up project now that the Boxsterado is done. I most likely am going to pull it around with my truck, but since my boxster has the same engine as my truck I thought about making a hitch.

I didn't even think of just using the bumperettes as a place to mount a hitch. :D


For the nay sayers. Its not a big sail boat its a sunfish. So don't worry I don't think hitch load is even gonna be an issue. :D

I did make a cool monoshock trailer for the boat out of an old rear end and a random strut from a car. Along side some square steel tubing that I used to make the subframe for the Porsche.
