Unhappy 2000 Boxster S Headlight Switch

My headlight switch will not allow the fog lights and rear safety light to stay on. If I pull the switch and hold it. everything works. Once I let go, the fog lights won't stay on. Which part is not working?

Headlight switch

Buy a new headlight switch. Notorious for failing after years. Mine was doing similar failures. New switch unit fixed it perfectly.
I posted a procedure for this a couple of months ago
