Wheel Arch Detailing

So I was bored and decided to detail the wheel arches. Did not expect them to be this dirty... Pretty satisfying

Looks great! I hope you used a jack stand to supplement that floor jack while you were working under there! ;)

What did you use as a cleaner/degreaser?

Just wonderin'..........

Did mine a couple of years ago when I had the front bumper off to clean the radiators.
Simple Green followed up by a pressure washer.
It came out really well.

Nice job UKR. Amazing how it can make a car look like new. I do this to all my Wheeler Dealer cars to give them that extra clean look.

I start w/ Gunk Engine Degreaser if it's really dirty. Then Scrubbing Bubbles followed by big & small scrub brushes and water five min after the Scrubbing Bubbles. Once it's clean, I'll spray the black plastic with Gunk Engine Dresser to give it a shine. Don't expect to spray something on and wash it off and have it look spectacular. Elbow grease is required but worth it when done.

That. LOL.

When I replaced my front readiator fans I decided to clean the wells. I used a litle palmolive soap in a sprayer... wiping and scrubbing... elbow grease... followed by sprayting a little warer for a final rinse and wipe.

No more 'gloss/shine' products in the wells for me.
