Solder repair vs. crimp over manifold

Question for you guys; my knock sensor wiring was damaged (possibly by a rodent) and need to repair it. I've heard from some that using solder joints around the engine could lead to leaking solder or breakdown due to heat vs. using a crimp butt connector. However, I'm planning to use a 96% tin 4% silver solder which has a melting point of ~440 degrees F, which seems high enough to not worry here. What kind of outside manifold temps would you estimate?

Nowhere near solder softening points.

Thanks! That confirms my assumption as well.
