				Atlas Grey

Just out of curiousity. Does anyone out there have their car in Atlas Grey? It was the colour I really wanted for my car but could never find one on the lot and I didn't want to wait for a custom built one. I ended up with Midnight Blue (and really love it) but I'm curious to see what the Atlas Grey would have looked like.

I am sure there is someone here with that color. I have seen it, and it looks like a metallic black. In bright sunlight it looks more like metallic charcoal black.
Your midnight blue metallic is a beautiful color...just hard to take care of! Right!!??

Yes, I do really like the midnight blue.. especially at night. It is hard to keep clean but I don't really get too obsessive about it. Driving through a Toronto winter pretty much cured me of any desire to keep it constantly spotless.

I don't know the name of my car's color but on my 2002 S I have a metallic black paint. For the most part it looks black, but at night under certain lighting it kind of has this funky gray glow to it.

And I can't seem to get the image to upload... My image resizing skills are obviously very poor...

Mine is in Atlas Grey. I really do love the color, and I almost did get midnight blue - but opted for the grey for easier maintaining. I'll upload a pic once I take one.

Just a few pics of my 2005 Atlas Grey Boxster - still in the showroom before I picked it up. Also bought the matching hardtop - looks great. I'll take a few more pics with the "roof" on.

wow. Looks great Houston Mac. Very nice. I like the transition from black to grey you get in the light. The midnight blue does the same thing (but with blue, of course).

And GmanMD, I'd love to see the pics if/when you get some.

Thanks guys,
Berj

Mine's Atlas Grey, and I'm happy I have it. I get a lot of comments on it, because of the subtle hues that change according to the lighting. It has the sharpness of black, but without the pain that it is to keep black clean (not that Atlas is easy). It has hues of purple and gold in there, and the overall color varies somewhat depending on what time of day it is.
You won't be sorry.
