Used door, reuse all the non sheet metal bits from your car, have painted to match? Never perfect but at least restores safety.

The other guy's insurance is paying, and yes, the car will be flagged as damaged. Thanks for the condolences.

Just buy a good used door...you can likely find a perfect colour matched one too, if your's is original.

Wash, polish and wax and carry on.

There's not many 20 year old cars out there that haven't been tweaked and painted.

Don't sweat that.

If she was a show piece, then I see why you'd be extra-pissed.
