Charcoal Vapor canister or?

So I replaced my fuel vent valve and charcoal canister but now I'm having problems. I have to pump the gas a bit to start car and keep it going. I took it all off and reconnected, same problem. I did notice some charcoal pellets were in the bottom line that runs back to the fuel filler valve, cleaned out and no more came out of canister but still same problem. Any thoughts?

Take a look at this thread: http://986forum.com/forums/performance-technical-chat/50264-success-finally-fixed-hard-start-while-hot-fueling-issues.html

Unfortunately, that wasn't it. I changed the purge valve at the filler neck and bought a used charcoal canister and now I'm having these problems. I have to pump the gas to get it to start and it struggles, once it's going it's fine.
