Bluetooth handsfree kit?

Has anyone had any luck with one of these kits for their cell? I am sure that the type that integrate with a factory head unit won’t work with our cars, but I have seen some that come with their own speaker. I am looking more for permanent installation as I already have the GPS and Escort plugged into two of the 3 power receptacles and it is getting a bit ridiculous – 3 would be too much.

Has anyone tried this yet? Is it too loud in the 987 for this to work with the top up as well as down?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I have never known of a handsfree kit to be of use in a ragtop, I have had the hard wired type along with bluetooth enabled devices. Either you can not hear them well or all they hear is background noise.

But you can always try for yourself, if multiple hookup's are an issue for you, then combind the devices.

They make some nice GPS/Bluetooth mobile phone devices. Just pair your BT enabled phone with the GPS and make and take calls using the speaker in the GPS.

Garmin has a few like http://www.garmin.com/bluetooth/compat-gps.jsp

Thanks Travis - I know, I am kicking myself for getting the Garmin unit without the bluetooth...
