Found this YouTube video that shows the SAI diagnosis and repair. A great visual aid to back up the good info on here. No affiliation. Just found it helpful is all.

Here is another one to watch.
gives you some diagnostic testing procedures without having to dismantle as much.
Also gives another perspective on how most SAI systems work.
Perhaps you watched it already.
