Boxster Air Noise

So my Boxster is up and running but makes this strange, almost "turbo like" noise when I hit the gas pedal. I've attached a link to a video to see and hear. Is this noise normal? Thanks for the help,
W

It doesn't sound terrible, but what I'm hearing sounds like accessory noise. It could be the alternator or the tensioner pulley.. Try taking the serpentine belt and start the engine *briefly* without it and see whether the noise is still there.

Do you mean the air-sound when you hit the gas fast? That's normal, at least mine sounds just the same.

Yea no change and had the panel behind the seats off, noise definitely coming from somewhere near plenum or what not.

Yup, the quick air sound. I couldn't tell before but there were all kind of code being thrown off before due to disconnected intake lines, bad vacuum reservoir which I've repaired and replaced.

I think that is the very pleasant sound of the air rushing into you engine when the throttlebody opens! Love it!

Thanks for the help, glad it isn't something else I have to track down!
