Question Carly OBD2, can it read the alarm sensors?

I'm looking for the lowest cost solution to read the state of my alarm sensors - I have the dreaded BEEP BEEP when locking the 2002 Boxster S with key fob, and the lock light on the dash stays on sometimes. Intermittent problem. Also the alarm has gone off a few times at 3am for no reason.

It seems Durametric can read the alarm sensors. I bought a POR V1.0 from Amazon, it does not read the sensors. The company says none of their units can do this.

Carly says they're not sure, someone is looking into it.

No fault codes are reported by the POR V1.0

Should I just pay the $$ and get Durametric?
