986 Roof Won't Open
 

Hi all, first post so excuse the war and peace!...I've checked existing threads but cant find the solution so hoping someone can help...when I un-latch the roof, the windows drop, the parking brake light is lit but nothing happens except I can hear and feel a click in the relay. I've tried my relay in a friends car and it works fine, I've also checked fuses B6 & D3, plus pushing the micro switch where the latch locates and that closes the windows, so seems to be working, although there only seems to be one contact/plate in the recess when some threads mention 2 contacts (or are they behind the plate perhaps?).
The problem only seems to have occurred after i had my central locking controller and key replaced, so I wonder if that could be anything to do with the problem? Any suggestions (other than write shorter threads!) would be greatly appreciated. Thx
