"986forum" decals?????Come on! - 986 Forum - The Community for Porsche Boxster & Cayman Owners

I appreciate all the creativity and suggestions from the forum members. You guys are why this forum is the best.

Rich and I have spoken and here are our thoughts:
- some owners love them and some wouldn't even consider a decal/sticker on their car
- we'll never come up w/ something that pleases everyone
- we won't ask a member to do any production or fulfillment
- it has to be a worthwhile endeavor for us (yes, meaning profitable)

So I've ordered some tastefully sized window stickers (2"h x 3" w):
- 50 blue
- 50 red

Here are the designs and the cost is $6 ea (includes shipping). Paypal to 986forum@comcast.net

I would be happy to support the forum with a sticker - some of the suggestions look great. It just feels a little off though putting a 986 sticker on a 987. Still, I guess if we have as much street-cred as we think we do, anyone who would notice the difference in model designations would know of our forum...

I forgot to mention: indicate in the PayPal comments section if you want red or blue.

okay i think you should cancel this order, who's going to put that on there car.

a decal sticker is usually just letters. i have never seen anyone put a picture in the decal.

you would of saved alot of money if you just made a decal like "986forum" done.

and red or blue are the worst colours ever for a decal..............white black or silver so that anyone can buy one.

you just messed this entire post. it was suppose to be a simple decal...like the heading of this website......986forum.com that easy.

i think i will make my own.....it cost $2 at the local print shop...probably even $1.

even UKchris designs were half decent. they were alittle too much, but they looked good. who wants a picture of there car in a sticker on there car...soo bad. but the image of the car in ukchris's designs were good.

Wow that's harsh. It kind of reminds me of a camp councilor I once had when I was 6 who kept yelling at me how stupid I was when I was throwing gutter balls on some bowling fieldtrip.

lol...honestly was that not the worst decal you have ever seen.....looked more like an advertisment.......i'm not selling the site on my car....i just want ownership to a site....

oh well i think it'll look great on your car dr kill....lol.....i ll take all 50 in blue....so that none of you put that god awful sticker on your car.....
