The Missing Link

914 - 984 - 986. Learned something new today. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/05/15/porsche-984-sports-car-history/#slide-2232905 It has the same low air intake design as the '93 986 prototype.

Interesting, the nose is awful long for a mid engined car. Look at how much space there is on the fender between the front tire and the leading edge of the door, and in the interior the inner wheel well doesn't intrude into the footwell at all. The frunk would have been huge!

Actually, rear engined. Dang, right when you think you really know about all the crazy concepts, mules, and “what-if’s” from Porsche, a new one always seems to emerge! I wonder if all car makers do this much model experimenting and project ditching? One question though? Could they have picked any other interior color? Ugh. I’ve seen some really nice browns from Porsche. This one, not so much!
