1997 Boxster - DMF failure related to strange idle?

Good day all,

As I'm still having some rough idle issues on a cold start - could it be that a worn DMF has influence on the DME controlling the fuel injection and ignition?

It seems that the DMF has lost its spring action and has a lot of free play (I can feel it during driving - especially when coming on and off the throttle + engine vibriation during driving at certain RPMs (engine mount already replaced))

Intested to hear your opinion on this.

The crank sensor is measuring from the flywheel, correct?

Kind regards,

Christiaan
