Ignition switch (electrical portion)

Just wanted to thank many of you for your posts about changing the electrical portion of the ignition switch. It was very tight under there and hard to get at the switch, but as you all said, it was doable. And it saved me a huge amount of money compared to what my dealership wanted. The part was $23 and took me and my helper (my great wife) about 90 mins. It’s always such a nice feeling of accomplishment. But I owe the thanks to the Forum and you guys!

When do we get to see pics of your new ride? You know what they say:

Pics or it didn't happen.

Nice car!

Were the bumperettes painted from the factory to match the body of the colour specific to SE Anniversary models? Or did you paint them yourself?

Thank you. They are factory painted and meant to highlight the Anniversary Edition.

Thanks for sharing that piece of information. I did not know they were unique to the Anniversary Edition. Learn something new every day!
