Knocking sound when trying to open convertible top

Hello everyone, i closed my roof and when I tried to open it up again, it started making a loud knocking sound and I can see some kind of push rod skipping. I have a video here

https://youtu.be/Tw7LRFAaA-s

I can’t find a good solution. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you

I saw the video. Looks like the rod that connects to lift the top is broken and jammed.

The info in this video may be helpful for opening the top so you can work on it:
