Power steering fluid

I've exhausted myself reading on the power steering fluid for the 986 (1998)... only because I exercise overkill on everything. I know that Pentosin chf 11S or 202 is recommended. However, I'm wondering if this product isn't just as effective... suitable.

This: Prestone | Products

The $10-$15 difference in price (Prestone v. Pentosin) concerns me not... I'd just like to know if the Prestone would be a product suitable for a top off in the PS reservoir... or even for a full drain and refill. There are a few personalities upon this forum that, if they respond, I'll be payng close attention to their recommendation/advice.

Thank you!

That’s exactly what I have in mine for the past 4 years with no issues. The back label indicates it meets Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and many other specs and is fully compatible with factory fluid so is good for replacement or just topping up.

Thank you, Paul. I just need to top it off to the fill line... and because I've no plans on draining and filling the fluid until late spring just needed a quick fix.

Have a great day!
