Trunk lights..??

Since I have had the boxster..its never had front or rear trunk lights, so I replaced the bulbs and they work now ,But I could not tell if the lights go off when I close the trunks. the bulbs were missing before so I started to wonder if they were pulled for some reason, like running down the battery over time.?? is there a way to check and see if they indeed turn off when the lids are closed, Thanks Frank

I actually put one of my grandsons in the frunk and the trunk, shut the lids. He verified the lights went out!

That's one way to do it!
Or you could just put your phone in there recording video.

I had the same question........ just used a screwdriver to trip the latches.

They do go out. If you watch your interior lights go out after closing up your car, the trunk lights are a similar timing.

And deny the kids the thrill of being locked in the trunk? They begged to do it, real boys, not afraid to get into things. On the road to being men!

Start a video recording with your phone, toss it in the trunk and close the lid. This should give you definitive proof.

Man's best friend.

Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk for a hour. When you open it up, who's happy to see you.
