Anyone help

Just been on holiday for 10 days

Go to use the Car this evening and both keys will not activate the remote unlocking
also neither key when put into the lock will open the door the key just turns and turns and no unlocking

Anyone help or have an idea what’s up with it

Car has a brand new battery as well before holiday

The remotes stop working after several days, insert the key in the door and unlock it, after which all will be fine again.

Hi
Yes I am aware of that but it’s not working

When putting the key in the lock and turning the barrel is just continually turning ! And not opening

Sounds like the door lock is faulty, you are probably going to need a locksmith for this one...……...

There is a 4€ part that connects the key barrel to the locking mechnism that sounds like being broken.
Part can be purchased from ebay and also VW parts counter. To change it is a time consuming, but not very difficult. My car had just that issue when I purchased it from previuos owner...
In your case it soinds like to get the door open before repairs is a challenge... maybe a locksmith or Porsche dealer can help on this.

If I remember right, porsche does not sell this little part separately and the door lock mechanism is rather expensive...
