Hood removal

Is it better to remove the hood with hinges attached to hood or not?

I don't. When I remove the hood I leave the hinges in place
I'll typically mark the hinge bolt locations with sharpies so I can reinstall in the same place.

Not saying one is better than the other but the lower ones are easier to remove.

If you remove the hood WITH the springs attached, it's a lot easier to install. Lining up the lower bolts to install is MUCH easier than trying to realign the hood.
