Looking to buy a boxster

Ive been looking on eBay at a 2002 red boxster s in Orlando.its setup like i prefer. Can someone more experience than myself look at that car for me and give me an opinion. the carfax reports car was sold at auction. is that a red flag? being sold by a dealer . Is that a red flag.
