Part number - Door anchor for mirror control trim

I need the part number of the plastic inserts, that fit into the door, that allow the triangle trim that holds the side mirror remote control to be attached. Mine have become brittle and have cracked, and the triangle trim won't stay attached.

I have tired to find the part number, but have been unsuccessful.

For those of you that don't know, they look very similar to the top part of plastic anchors that you insert into drywall, that allows you to insert a screw. I have even tried that, but cant find anything that is the right diameter.

Is this what you're looking for?

I think OP means those blue sockets. that you press the tabs into.

No. Thank you for responding. They are a little plastic “tube” with a flange head on it.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. I usually default to the Porsche-supplied parts catalog when looking for part numbers. That or brute force whatever keywords I can think of into google.
I do have some potential solutions though. The '97 I'm currently gutting also apparently had a problem, and the previous owner had stuck some hot glue in there. It was a real pain getting out.
Otherwise, if you can't find the parts elsewhere, I'd be happy to try popping the ones I have out and sending them to you.

Edit-Piper is clearly much better at the internet than I am.

Not necessarily, I just happen to have a pdf copy of the parts catalog that I found online, probably on this forum. Once I can recall the source, I'll post the link.

yeah I've got it saved as a bookmark; super important resource. I was just looking at the wrong assembly.
