I'm in my own shoes. I've run across snobs like that, and could give two ****************s about their life circumstances... for they're the ones that could just remain silent or walk away. I would have told him to **************** off.

I love the original taillights from the pre-2003 models, though. Glad to see them on there!
Very interesting how you have the amber trim on the clear-bottomed headlights. I haven't seen that before, but it looks great with your amber side-lights. Those headlights also look super clean and crisp, no fading/yellow color at all!
It's also neat how you have the new glass-back top. You have yourself a very unique Boxster!
Your car is in great cosmetic condition. It really shines, would love to see more photos! You're going to have a lot of fun.
Welcome to the community!

The prior owner decided to try and clean them up using a kit. He figured if light pressure works then heavy buffing would really clean the lenses. Next thing hew knew was he had to replace both headlights. LOL
He did update the top with a glass rear window.

I wish I had the documentation and stash of parts I got when we picked it up.
She runs extremely well for a 60 year old car. It was never intended to have this kind of life span.
It only weighted 2380#.
(The 1960 Falcon was powered by a small, lightweight 95 hp (70 kW), 144 CID (2.4 L) Mileage Maker straight-6.) I had intentions of building a hot rod, but when my Dad saw it and its condition, that was off the table.

Are those Yamaha 200s in the background. I like the falcon. Brings back memories. The old slip and slide 2 speed Auto manual choke. Millennials would not know what to do with a car like to 0 to 60 in about 30 second

Man, that is clean!
