Check engine light mystery
I keep getting a CEL on my 2000 Boxter S. Scan of codes keeps saying the same Oxy sensor. Changed it twice and light comes back on after a few days. Could it be the MAF with only one sensor being indicated?

The MAF and O2 sensors are not related.
You likely have a connector issue. Try cleaning the connector with electrical contact cleaner and ensure it is fully seated. |
It could be the catalytic converter is shot.
Also, there are two O2 sensors on each side. You should replace both. What are the specific codes? |

you could swap the wiring of the O2 sensors lett to right if they reach to see if the code moves or not.
