sport seats do you like them ?

My S has " standard " leather seats that have the heater option . Nothing wrong with them the heat function works fine and the leather is in decent shape . For those of you that have sport seats do you like them ? Did you go from standard to sport ? How do they compare ? Just thinking about possibly starting the search for a set . Just a hot rod daily driver haven't done an AX's or DE's in a few years ........ too busy !

I have the factory sport seats in my 03 S. Other than the shoulder area 'wings' they are almost identical to the standard seats and quite honestly they don't feel much different. The fore & aft and up & down are manual while the back tilt is powered. Also, they are not heated or cooled.

I really like the sport seats. I’m 6’-2”, average build and they provide great upper body support, especially when cornering.

Anyone taken standard seats and turned them into sport seats ? If the bottoms are basically the same how hard would it be to add the wings on the seat back ? Just thinking out loud .

My .02....

....I have the Sport seats on my 2004 550 Edition.

I’m a fat 51 year old and my wife is a little “Thic”.

They are comfortable for us on 15 hour long trips.

Just do it.

I have sport seats in one of my Boxsters and my 996. I really enjoy them. you should find a set.

I've seen conversion kits on eBay that add the wings, but I honestly don't think they look that good.

They seem to be fairly easy to find in black. It's the other colors that are hard to find.
