Slave Cylinder Push Rod fell into the bell housing

NewArt,
I feel your pain on the slave cylinder, my son's Audi A4 clutch pedal went down to the floor, so based on the symptoms, I proceeded to pull it out and put a new one in. Access was a major PIA, I didn't have the luxury to remove the exhaust piping in the A4.

While installing the new slave cylinder, the push rod fell into the bell housing. Oops, my heart sank down, when I heard the metal rod clanging while it fell against the pressure plate.

So I sucked it up and started to pull the transmission. It turns out the problem was not the slave cylinder, but the pressure plate and clutch disk failed. So I actually had to remove the transmission anyways. It was just that initial feeling of helplessness, when I heard the rod fall in the bell housing.

Nice job with the install. Keep up the good content on youtube.
