Hard restart after fueling
The car is running perfectly well.
Had a Secondary Air intake code the other day. After refueling the car is not easy to start, Is it related to this code? Or is it something else. I hear the secondary blower working on almost every cold start. |
A quick search found this. Might help.

It's the Shut-off Valve. Part number 99660520101.
Get the Pierburg 722098040 to replace it. |

That's what I was thinking it was, something involved in the fueling process. I will get this part. Where is it located? |
It's located on the left side below the intake. Most likely connected by a clamp with a 8mm bolt to the intake. The flexible tube from the throttle body clamps onto the valve. The semi rigid tubing that comes with it goes forward, then down to the belly where there is a 'squeeze to release' connector.

I'm showing the "regeneration valve" from the thread that Monty linked. This: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/99611012906.htm?pn=996-110-129-06-OEM , "99611012906" |

To test the valve #9 on the diagram is pretty easy.
Open the fuel door then remove the fuel cap and with your finger push the metal flap where the gas nozzle normally goes far enough until it stops. You will ear the solenoid valve clicking. If not then the valve is shot. It is possible to test the #6 using durametric. You will also ear the valve clicking. About the one located under the intake, Durametric will also be able to test it. You will need a very quiet environnement and ideally with the engine cover removed. Once activated with Durametric you will ear a light click every 2-3 seconds. |

Will go order the part today. Is this readily accessible? Do I need to take anything off before I can get to this part? |
