belt tensioner arm/pulley
I am trouble shooting an intermittent noise from the belts/pulleys. I removed the belt and ran the car without belts, no noise. I checked the pulley and rollers and did not find and real issues.
I put the belt back on a discovered that the tensioner arm is not moving the whole distance, about a 1/4 of an inch of travel can be pushed by hand. I am thinking that is the problem. If so, is the solution a new tensioner arm or is this a lubrication issue? Dvaid |

Either way, any kind of movement would not be solved with lubrication. |
SLide a 15mm open end wrench behind the pulley there is a nut. Crank the nut on the fron with a 24mm socket. it will tighten up the nutand the pulley will move normally. I did this just last week.

Thankyou
