Question The roof cloth, roof bow, and those rubber seals

Hey DIY, especially those people who replaced the roof on their Boxster,

I 'm trying to put the rubber seals back on the bow of my new roof, especially the pesky locking strip [assumes go first?], but has any one figured out a way to get them in?
And once they're in, stay in?

I channeled the cloth into the grooves with a putty knife, used some silicone spray, but they're so tight I can't push them in!

And the rest don't want to stay in.

Any guidance would truly be appreciated.

Thanks

Include some pictures to help the forum and share what you learn.
I haven’t done a top replacement and understand it takes time and skill. Hope you get everything figured out.
The top was replaced in my 2002, and it wasn’t done well. I still have all kinds of issues getting into service mode, opening and closing etc. luck to you

I just installed a new top but your questions are not clear to me. Can you include some photos to clarify what you need?
