Perhap a bit over the top, but i like it.. Retro wrapping

So our track day car is finally comming together...

If wrapping is all that is needed to go fast then this old 986 with do just fine..

Guess we will find out this tuesday, local track venue..

Modifications so fare

996 air intake
sports cats and exhaust
Gemballa coils/springs = very very low and hard... perhaps to unforgivning
spacers

and a wrapp...

I think it looks great, and reminds me of the good old days.

Cars.
986S Trackday
R8 Audi V8
Honda Ep3 Race/Trackday
BMW 530 F10

Previous. 3x 986S, 987 Cayman R, 996 Carrera, 997 S, M3 M5, Xkr, Vantage V8, Ferrari 458, Honda Fn2 Kompressor, Porsche 944, and a whole bunch of other cars and the reason my children will be going to community college

Looks cool, but without a real suspension, you will be limited on the track

So just to close the thread..

Martini striping does in fact make the car go faster..

And the ultra low and still Gemballa coils worked like a charm...
All that is left now are sticky tires and a remap..

Near freaking miss... almost lost it 01:16

Could be either
Oil air seperatot or too much oil in engine

Or engine problem... he keept doing it after each right turn...
