o2 sensors
i have a 01 boxster s. i had headers and fabspeed exhaust installed. the installer said the front o2 sensors were to short. no cats so the rear are not used.
can i install the rear sensors in the front? |

Their interchangeable, just different length wires. I have headers and have used the rear o2's as primarys with no issues.

I have an 01 non-S. I'm debating what to do with my exhaust, because both cats are bad. If I replace the manifold/pre-cats with headers, deleting those cats, what do I do with the O2 sensors? How will it affect performance if the ECU isn't getting a signal from all of the sensors?
