I just had a Kenwood car stereo installed in my 1999 boxster base with the upgraded Becker CDR 210. I had a difficult time finding someone to put a new radio in this car. Not a lot of car stereo shops have experience with a Porsche. I finally found a guy at the local Best Buy and he did some research and in less than an hour it was in. Sounds great (for a roadster with four speakers dash and doors).
