What is this in my frunk?
I've got a plastic cover covering some Bosch circular thing in the back left of my facelift 02 plate. Just under the brake fluid cowels
It's not there on my dads prefacelift 2000 model. Any ideas what it is? only thing 'extra' i have over my dads 986 is that I have PSM and sport seats. https://photos.app.goo.gl/hmGpP4v36Nv8GJYdA any ideas? |
dude, realise that the sun rises and sets over 'merica, so if you post a pick of a RHD car you better specifically say so otherwise you will blow a lot of minds. ps, the one pic i can get at doesn't show a 'bosch circular thing', just a brake fluid reservoir?
if you are having trouble posting pics to the forum (it seems to not like pics from an iphone/ipad) i use onedrive (comes with a complete office suite for my mobile devices). allows me to save the pic to my files on onedrive, at which point i can upload to the forum. |
I think he is referring to the panel lock screw.

is the photo i posted not opening? google photos is much easier to share rather than uploading elsewhere.
here- https://photos.app.goo.gl/pZ5ZacRiG3d5QkiDA is the thing inside of the plastic. i've googled the code and it appears to be a motor of sorts, maybe ABS related? do all models not come with ABS as standard then? or were pre-facelift ones located elsewhere in the car? |
