AOS Replacement

I did not get to replace mine last fall, car stays garaged 90% anyway. I tried but my giant hands I can just see no way to do this without removing the intake.I have the new top hose but I think I need to replace the longer one as well , so I will get one on order. When removing the throttle body and whatever else is on the top of the engine to gain access what will I need for replacement gaskets ?? or for that matter anything else ??

Thanks

Dwight

Put the rear on stands... remove the rear passenger wheel... and tackle it from below and above. When I replaced my 98 AOS I didn't touch the TB.

Big hands can be a pain... but they also can be a blessing. ;)

My hands are huge. The proof is in the pudding.

No gaskets needed. Just a lot of patience.

Just did mine yesterday.... 2002 base
Lot easier than I expected.
Like starter986 said.... 80% of the job was done thru the wheel well.
No need to remove anything.

Thanks folks

I am going to retry this in a week or so as you described. I am going to get my 23 year old grandson to help me...he has small nimble hands

You make pudding with those hands? How often? Once a day? Twice a week? :D:D:D:D:D;);)
