Rough idle after cleaning throttle body

Yesterday I cleaned my throttle body. I put everything back, turn the key on for 1 minute, turned key off for 10 seconds then started the car. Idles extremely rough keeps going between 1k RPM's to about 1100 rpm back and forth. If I floor the gas pedal, rpm goes up only to 2K. I put my hands around the air hoses and I didn't find any leaks. Any ideas?

check the pins inside the TB connector, perhaps you may have bent one when you plug it in..?

Share more detail in your process for cleaning the throttle body, it'll help the experts understand what could have gone wrong. Did you remove the TB from car? What method and products did you use? Anything unusual happen in the process?

FWIW, rough idle is often attributable to the MAF sensor. Either it was contaminated when you cleaned the throttle body or who knows. Try disconnecting the MAF for a change in symptoms.

I actually forgot to plug the whole thing in. That was the issue. Thanks everyone for their time :)
