Interesting front bumper

Haven't seen this bumper on this 2000 before. Anyone know who makes it?

I don't know. It looks a little dis-proportioned to me. But, to each their own.

It seems to stick out a little farther than it should but the cooling holes, DRLs and spliter look nice to me.

One of the nicest styling principles of the 986 and 996 was the low profile front end reminiscent of air cooled Porsches. Minimizing the frontal area while still allowing plenty of air to the rads was key, transitioning from the 993 look

Today styling for all new cars seems to feature as large a grill as possible. The worst cases are Lexus where they look like a Marshall amplifier sitting on a snow plow. God awful in my opinion.

This example looks like the original bumper may actually be underneath the tacked on unit. Not to my taste but to each his own.

Strongly dislike. Looks like a Plymouth Prowler got jammed in there mixed with those pictures of people pointing a leafblower in their mouth

China is one of the fastest growing luxury car markets these days and for the Chinese there is no such thing as too big a grill. So all the luxury makers are amping up their grills for all markets across the world. The BMW kidneys keep getting bigger. They are now so large they have a thermostat controlled blockers to close of the slats in the kidneys in cooler weather.

No way. Go look again, and have a photo of one with an original bumper next to ya. No way this is fitted OVER a bumper. Nor does it appear to stick out much farther than the original, except near the bottom / splitter area.

I was being sarcastic. You can tell the original is gone.

There is a reason for Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream. Some do, some don't.
