Aux cable for CDR23

Hi all,
Just bought and fit a aux cable for my CDR23 but I cannot work out how exactly to change the input settings on the stereo to use it.
I've been reading around and i see mention of the CD Changer (which I didn't have in my car). Is there a way I can get it working?

Where does the aux cable plug in? Do you have the Bose system? My Boxster has Bose and an after market Dension Gateway 500 that plugs into the MOST fibre optic system making the unit 'think' there is a CD changer. I basically press the CD button on the CDR 23 and use my iPod (yes I have an iPod) to play my tunes. Works like a charm.

Yes I have Bose. Plugging it into back of the cdr23 in the only plug socket that it seems to fit into. On the far left S you look at it from pulling it out upside down. As far as I know I have never had a CD changer although there are stickers on the stereo top implying it was a refurbished and checked unit in 2016 ...so I'm not sure.
I'm assuming I've got MOST since I'm facelift
