Lightbulb Rear Plastic Window Repair - Ottawa?

Hey guys, Happy Easter!

Does anyone know of a place in Ottawa, Ontario (or nearby) who can repair my rear plastic window... I have a large tear in the window still and I need to get that replaced.

I can't seem to find anyone nearby that can do it for reasonable price/time.

Thanks
DrCactus

Get a new top with a glass window. You will be glad you did

A glass windowed top would solve several issues experienced with running the plastic version. But...something will be lost in the transition. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around the resulting glass gun port window.I remember seeing a restored early 911 Targa that had a plastic window (before Porsche switched to glass) and it looked "right"...somehow balanced, and extremely rare as a result. Sorry to jump in here and don't mean to knock MrBen's advice in any way. Ottawa's great town...good luck with your hunt!

new top...get a good one. The shop needs to remove your top to replace the plastic window, so you are paying labor for the installation of a top, PLUS the costs of stitching in plastic. It is cheaper to replace the top and you get a new top!
If you have an earlier boxster, you can add a headliner (nice) and of course glass window, but make sure whoever does it is competent. one of my cars had the top installed by someone incompetent and it doesn't lay right, close correctly, service mode is a hassle. I haven't figured out everything that is wrong yet...someday.
